	FORD 2000e GEARBOX PARTS Rebuild and repair parts for the Ford 2000e or "Bullet" gearbox with 3 selector rails in the top of the main case. The gearbox is commonly known as the 2000e gearbox but was also fitted to Ford Anglia, Ford Cortina Mk1 and Ford Mk1 Escort Mexico / RS2000.
	FORD BC GEARBOX PARTS Ford BC type transmissions are front wheel drive. First used in the Fiesta as a 4 speed unit the soon after a 5 speed BC version was used in Mk3 and Mk4 Ford Escorts and later Fiestas. The BC gearbox was the predecessor to the IB5 gearbox.

	FORD IB5 GEARBOX PARTS Ford IB5 transmissions are all 5 speed. The are in essence an uprated version of the earlier BC gearbox. Modifications included a heavy duty differential bearing and various improvements to mainshaft bearings. A wide variety of ratios are available to suit small petrols engines and high torque diesels.

	FORD TRANSIT J2 GEARBOX PARTS Repair kits and spare parts to rebuild the Ford Transit 4 speed J2 type gearbox, including manual and Laycock/ Ford overdrive types. The Ford J2 type transmission is 4 speed with a heavy iron case and was fitted to Transits with Essex V6, some 2.0 pinto and York type diesel engines. The tail housing can have a top rubber mounting or bottom stander Ford V shape mounting depending upon vehicle application and year of manufacture. Early versions of the J2 gearbox can also be found with a rear flange that the props haft bolts to.
	FORD TYPE 2 GEARBOX PARTS The Ford Type 2 gearbox is normally found in Mk1 & Mk2 Ford Escorts, but there are a few other Fords that use this transmission. The Type 2 has a one piece bell housing and main case, the bell housing cannot be removed. The rear tail housing is aluminium with a screw in gearstick.

	FORD TYPE 5 GEARBOX PARTS Ford Type 5 gearboxes are a large heavy all iron case 4 speed gearbox. The Type 5 was used in Ford Capris with 3.0 V6 Essex engines and 2.8 4 speed Cologne V6 engines, also found in Reliant Scimitars and a few TVR.Common problems include worn synchro rings, noisy bearings and broken input shaft teeth.Also known as "Typ E" in Europe.

	FORD TYPE E GEARBOX PARTS The Ford Type E transmission is a 4 speed single selector rail gearbox, used for higher horse powered engines. It came with removable bellhousing in most UK versions and built in integral bellhousing in some Taunus versions. The Ford Type E gearbox is regularly referred to as the "Rocket" box. "Rocket" was the name of the Ford motorsport close-ratio competition gearbox that was based on the Type E. Also known as "Typ B" in Europe.
