This part is a new outer sliding sleeve to suit the 3rd and 4th gear synchro hub with early type baulk rings

Early type baulk rings are the ones that have open slots where the hub blocker bars sit.

When the small dog teeth wear on your hub it will often jump out of gear, also check the small dog teeth on the 3rd gear and 4th gear (input shaft) to see if they are still serviceable
