Rover 25 /45 200 / 400 series clutch release arm failure.posted on 30 July 2014 | posted in Rover iB5 gearbox informationA very common failure on the later Rover 200 / 400 24/45 series is the clutch release lever and fork breaking, often resulting in damage to the clutch pressure plate and release bearing. The front cover of the Ford iB5 gearbox that was fitted to the later Rover 200 and 400 series can also be damage as it is constructed from very thin steel. There are two types of lever on the iB5 Rover transmission, cable clutch and hydraulic clutch. We now have a few levers in stock, please check if you need cable or hydraulic type before ordering. You can see the Hydraulic type arm on this website HERE
