Ford Sierra Type 9 gearbox seal kit with high temperature front oil seal and coated rear seal.
The front seal in this kit is made to resist higher temperatures from high revving engines than standard seals, over heating at the front end is a common problem on the Ford Type 9 gearbox.
The rear seal is the same version as Ford used to sell in their aftermarket packets, its fully rubberised so should resist rust and salt corrosion better than the steel version and has the oil thrower embossed into the sealing ring. It's a very good seal, but a little more expensive than our standard seal.
The speedo seal is our standard seal for the Type 9 speedo pinion to cable connection.
