FORD CORTINA TYPE 3 4 SPEED GEARBOX LAYSHAFT

This layshaft (countershaft) is for the Ford Type 3 gearbox with one top selector rail and aluminium tail case that was fitted to the Cortina and Capri with 1.3 Kent engine and 1.6 Pinto engine.

FORD CORTINA TYPE 3 GEARBOX REBUILD KIT

Kit includes:

1 x Oil seal kit
1 x Gasket kit
1 x Mainshaft needle bearing
1 x Input shaft bearing
1 x Mainshaft rear bearing
1 x Laygear needle roller set

As fitted to Mk2/Mk3/Mk4 1300/1600 Cortina & Capri etc

The Ford Type 3 gearbox has one single selector rail and aluminium tail housing with removable bell housing.


Also for the Ford Cortina / Sierra 1600cc Type 3 gearbox with alloy tail case and single selector rail. Commonly fitted to most........ Cortina Mk1, Mk2, Mk3, Mk4, Mk5 Corsair Lotus Cortina Mk1/2 to 1968 Escort Twin Cam Escort RS1600 & some Mexico etc Sierra 1600cc.
