Ford Type 9 1st Gear Synchro Ring with Increased Contact Area
This synchroniser ring features approximately 35% more internal brass contact area than many aftermarket rings, and around 30% more than the original Ford design.
The increased contact surface provides a larger working area between the synchroniser ring and gear cone during gear changes, while fitting and operating in the same manner as a standard Ford Type 9 synchro ring.
This baulk ring is designed for use on standard Ford Type 9 1st gears in road-going gearboxes.
